The Tennessee Titans continue to be consistent on one front this 2014 season, losing.
Early in the 21-13 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars, it looked like things might be different. The Titans took their opening drive down the field for a touchdown, their first since the Denver Broncos game last year. That stat should be telling enough of how the season has been for this franchise. After that, it was back to typical Titans. The defense stuffed Jacksonville early in the 1st half, but that would not last. Toby Gerhart had a 1-yard touchdown run in the 3rd quarter, and Jacksonville took the lead for good. It didn’t help the Titans confidence when Jordan Todman rumbled 62-yards yards for a touchdown, to seal the game in the late in the 4th.
With the loss, the Tennessee Titans are now slotted for the 1st pick in the upcoming draft. Tennessee returns to LP Field next Sunday for the home finale which many fans, including myself, will be happy to see come and go.
