For the first time in franchise history, the Predators have taken a 2-0 lead in their series against Anaheim. The Ducks outshot the Preds 26-19, but the key was in the power play. Nashville saw six chances on the power play, and Shea Weber’s late second period PPG put the Preds at a healthy 3-1 lead going in to the third. Despite Anaheim’s best efforts and a final push from Nate Thompson to cut the lead, the Preds held out for a 3-2 win, and took the 2-0 advantage heading back home. The Team returns home this afternoon at 4pm at Signature Air – 801 Hanger Lane in Nashville. Join us at Bridgestone Arena for Game 3 as the series continues Tuesday. The Preds and Ducks face off tomorrow at Bridgestone Arena at 8:30pm, The Game Nashville will be broadcasting live all day from the Jack Daniels Barrel House.
