According to Jason Wolf of The Tennessean, the deal is for four years at an estimated $6.55 million with a $2.96 million signing bonus, according to the NFL’s rookie wage scale. This comes only five days after Dodd received preventative foot surgery for a stress fracture he sustained in rookie camp.
Dodd is expected to skip the remainder of the Titans’ offseason workout program until training camp begins at the end of July.
Tennessee now has nine of the ten rookies in this year’s draft class under contract. Only third-round draft choice and former MTSU safety Kevin Byard remains unsigned.
