You can’t ignore it. No matter where you are in Middle Tennessee, the amount of gold is overwhelming.
All up and down lower Broadway, businesses are showing full support of their neighbors, the Predators, in their quest to bring a professional championship to Nashville.
Wishing our @PredsNHL all the best tonight vs. the ducks. We will be cheering for you here in #Smashville! #preds #StandWithUs #PredsPride pic.twitter.com/4GUsw55HEf

We’ve even seen opposing team fans steal a Predators flag off of a local establishment only to see said establishment call that fan base out and replace the flag in short order.
To the Blackhawks fan who stole our #StandWithUs banner on Saturday night: The Preds are here stay! Thank you @predsfoundation pic.twitter.com/InHQtgBEpL

But the support doesn’t stop with store-front businesses.
Wingate Media Group is a locally owned and operated billboard advertisement company based in Spring Hill. Their reach in support of the Preds goes far beyond lower Broadway. They could easily sell the ad space at their Murfreesboro Pike, Lebanon Pike and Fesslers Lane locations to a client but, sometimes, civic pride is more important than dollars.
“As a local Nashville company, we donate open ad inventory to devote to worthy community engagement topics and ideas,” Ike Wingate, Founder and CEO, said. “There’s nothing more ‘community’ in Nashville than the incredible history-making story of the Predators and the ground swell of excitement from their fan base cheering them on.”
And he’ll leave it up as long as he needs to.
“In June, we hope to have ‘Congrats to the Stanley Cup Champion Nashville Predators’ on all our digital boards,” Wingate said. “That would be a dream come true for us here in Nashville.”
The Preds are also being lifted up by an entertainment partner of theirs in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

And, of course, several businesses that feel a direct result to their bottom line such as Rippy’s, Tootsie’s, Honky Tonk Central, Big Bang Nashville and The Diner — as well as First Baptist Church and Dick’s Sporting Goods in Cool Springs — are all waving their golden colors in support of the Predators.
