Right-winger Tom Fitzgerald is ESPN 102.5 The Game’s 19th best Predator of all time. Fitzgerald was captain of the inaugural team in 1998 after being selected in the expansion draft.
David Poile drafted Fitzgerald for his experience and leadership skills. He brought stability to an expansion franchise with his veteran presence and consistency.
He wore a Predators’ jersey for over three seasons before being traded to the Blackhawks in 2002. Over his 307 games in Nashville Fitzgerald tallied 88 points (42g-46a).
