ESPN 102.5 The Game’s countdown of the Top 20 Predators of All Time continues with Center Ryan Johansen at no. 16. Affectionately nicknamed “Joey”, Johansen came to Nashville via a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2016. The Preds expected big things from the young star in his first full season, Johansen delivered by dishing 47 assists en route to a 61 point season.
Johansen is the top-line center Nashville has needed since the organization began in 1998. Johansen signed an eight-year contract worth $64 million in the offseason, making him the second highest paid player on the team.
