NASHVILLE (February 8, 2018) – ESPN 102.5 The Game is proud to announce a new weekday morning show, “Morning Drive,” with hosts Braden Gall, Nick Kayal and former NFL star, Derrick Mason. The show will air from 6 to 10 AM beginning Monday, February 12, 2018.
“Morning Drive will bring energy and entertainment to sports talk in Nashville in a way that drives listeners well beyond their morning commute,” said Market Manager, Jana Hampton. “The combined knowledge and experience of Nick, Braden and Derrick deliver on our promise that 102.5 The Game IS Nashville’s Best Sports Talk.”
Braden Gall has been a fixture in mornings on ESPN 102.5 The Game since September of 2016. Gall brings a wealth of knowledge on all sports to the Nashville airwaves.
Nick Kayal is new to the Nashville market, as he makes the move from Philadelphia, Penn. Kayal was formerly a host with 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia and Sirius XM.
Derrick Mason was a star wide receiver in the NFL for 15 seasons, most notably for the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. Mason is the only player in NFL history to amass 10,000 receiving yards and 5,000 return yards in his career.
The midday show continues to feature Darren McFarland and Willy Daunic from 10 am to 2 pm on ESPN 102.5 The Game, as the show will be called “Darren and Daunic.” Jared Stillman and Floyd Reese continue to host “Jared & The GM” from 2 to 6 pm on weekday afternoons.
Along with the lineup adjustments, Program Director Ryan Porth announces the promotion of Chase McCabe, Executive Producer and now Assistant Program Director of ESPN 102.5 The Game and 94.9 Game 2 in Nashville.
