When the Nashville Predators secured the Presidents’ Trophy for the best overall record for the 2017-18 NHL season, there were five possible first round playoff opponents. A day later that number was whittled down to two. And, as luck would have it, those two played each other.
On Saturday night, the Colorado Avalanche beat the St. Louis Blues for the right to face the Preds in the opening round of the postseason and, today, the schedule was announced.
As expected, the series will start on Thursday night in Music City. Below is the entire schedule. All times are Central.
