Contest Name: “The Game Bracket Challenge”
Station: WPRT-FM 102.5 The Game & WBUZ-HD3 ESPN 94.9, hereinafter referred to as ‘Station(s).
Sponsors: This contest is sponsored by Coaches Corner, WAGR, Dazed Delta 8 and The Cromwell Group Inc. & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”), hereinafter referred to as ‘Sponsors’.
ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open only to individuals who 1) are legal residents of the United States 2) Are 18 years of age or older at time of entry 3) are within the broadcast signal/listening area or a 75 mile radius of our WPRT-FM tower (others can participate, but not win local prizes). Employees of The Cromwell Group INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors (Coaches Corner & WAGR) and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible. Entrants who have won any contest within the last 30 days through any Cromwell Group Inc. & Affiliates stations (102.9 The Buzz, 102.1 THE VILLE, 93.3 Classic Hits, 102.5 The Game & ESPN 94.9 Game) are not eligible to win. No purchase necessary. One valid entry per person.
DESCRIPTION OF CONTEST/HOW TO ENTER: Beginning March 13, 2022, The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates (102.5 The Game & ESPN 94.9) will begin the “102.5 The Game/ESPN 94.9 Bracket Challenge” contest online. In the “Full Bracket” game, contestants pick the winner of each game of each round of the tournament prior to the start of the first full round of the tournament (the round of 64 teams) (hereafter referred to as the “First Round”). Select the team that you predict will win each game of the Men’s College Basketball Tournament and enter the score for the designated tie-breaker game. You may enter your picks until fifteen (15) minutes before the start of the first game of the First Round of the tournament on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Contestants will not be required to pick the winners of the “First Four” play-in games. Limit one (1) entry per person. Each round of the tournament is worth up to 64 points. There are 6 rounds in the tournament worth up to 384 points. You will receive 2 points for each First Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 4 points for each Second Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 8 points for each Third Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 16 points for each Fourth Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 32 points for each Fifth Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 64 points for picking the winner of the Championship game. If a game is canceled, forfeited, or indefinitely suspended for any reason, that game shall not count for any participant and scores will be computed as if the game did not exist. The participant with the highest score for each round will be deemed the round winner, subject to verification. The participant with the highest total score for all rounds combined will be deemed the Full Bracket Grand Prize winner, subject to verification of eligibility. In the event of a tie for the highest score in any round, the winner for the round will be randomly selected from among the tied participants. In the event of a tie for the highest overall score, the “Score Approximation Formula” outlined below will be used to determine the Grand Prize winner. Score Approximation Formula: (1) Subtract what the participant chose as the score for the winning team from the actual winning team’s score and square this value. (2) Subtract what the participant chose as the score for the losing team from the actual losing team’s score and squares this value. (3) Add the value from 1 and 2 above together to get the participant’s “score approximation.” The tied participant with the lowest “Score Approximation” will be deemed the winner. If there are still ties, the ties will be broken based on the following criteria in this order: (1) the most points earned in the Fifth Round. (2) the most points earned in the Fourth Round. (3) the most points earned in the Third Round. (4) the most points earned in the Second Round. (5) the most points earned in the First Round. (6) If there is still a tie, the winner will be randomly selected from the remaining tied players.
In the 16 Team Bracket game, you pick the winner of each game of each round of the tournament remaining prior to the start of the third full round of the tournament (the round of 16 teams) (hereafter, the “Third Round”). The 16 Team Bracket game may not be offered by all local affiliates. Select the team that you predict will win each game of the Men’s College Basketball Tournament from the Third Round on and enter the score for the designated tie-breaker game. You may enter your picks until fifteen (15) minutes before the start of the first game of the Third Round. Limit one (1) entry per person. Each remaining round of the tournament is worth up to 64 points. There are 4 rounds remaining in the tournament worth up to 256 points. You will receive 8 points for each Third Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 16 points for each Fourth Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 32 points for each Fifth Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 64 points for picking the winner of the Championship game. If a game is canceled, forfeited, or indefinitely suspended for any reason, that game shall not count for any participant and scores will be computed as if the game did not exist. The participant with the highest total score for all rounds combined (Third Round through the Championship game) will be deemed the 16 Team Bracket Game winner, subject to verification of eligibility. The 4 Team Bracket game may not be offered by all local affiliates. Select the team that you predict will win each game of the Men’s College Basketball Tournament and enter the score for the designated tie-breaker game. You may enter your picks until fifteen (15) minutes before the start of the first game of the Fifth Round of the tournament. Limit one (1) entry per person. Each remaining round of the tournament is worth up to 64 points. There are 2 rounds remaining in the tournament worth up to 128 points. You will receive 32 points for each Fifth Round game you pick correctly. You will receive 64 points for picking the winner of the Championship game. If a game is canceled, forfeited, or indefinitely suspended for any reason, that game shall not count for any participant and scores will be computed as if the game did not exist. The participant with the highest total score for all rounds combined (Fifth Round through the Championship game) will be deemed the 4 Team Bracket Game winner, subject to verification of eligibility. In the event of a tie for the highest overall score, the “Score Approximation Formula” outlined below will be used to determine the winner. Score Approximation Formula: (1) Subtract what the participant chose as the score for the winning team from the actual winning team’s score and square this value. (2) Subtract what the participant chose as the score for the losing team from the actual losing team’s score and squares this value. (3) Add the value from 1 and 2 above together to get the participant’s “score approximation.” The tied participant with the lowest “Score Approximation” will be deemed the winner. If there are still ties, the ties will be broken based on the following criteria in this order: (1) the most points earned in the Fifth Round. The Winner will be contacted pending a review to verify that the submitting participant has followed all contest rules, is a legal resident of the United States, is 18 years or older, lives within a 75 mile radius of the WPRT-FM Tower and has not won a prize from any of The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates stations (102.5 The Game, ESPN 94.9, 102.9 The Buzz, 93.3 Classic Hits or 102.1 THE VILLE) 30 days prior to April 4, 2022. The prize of the “Bracket Challenge” is non-transferable. The winner has two (2) weeks to pick up prize when all prizes have been submitted. If the random contestant selected fails to meet these criteria, another contestant will be selected at random and verified until a qualified winner is selected.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by phone call, phone text or email. All posted results are unofficial until winners are verified. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days of the initial notification email, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next highest scoring participant. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of participants.
PRIZE(S): National prizing provided by Second Street. No local prize will be awarded for this contest.

If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”). License: Entry into any contest constitutes full permission for The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) and promotion sponsors and their respective affiliates to broadcast and/or to photograph or publish the participant’s name, voice, recorded comments, biographical information, face and likeness without compensation in connection with the “The Game Bracket Challenge”. The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) and all of its affiliates reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates reserve the right to change the rules at any time.
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize, winner(s) grant the Sponsor and Station(s) permission to use their names, characters, images, voices, and likenesses worldwide, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented in any and all marketing and promotional materials and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. Each winner’s name may be included in a publicly available winners list.
RELEASES, CONDITIONS, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Entrants further grant to The Cromwell Group, INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest, including images or videos submitted into the “102.5 The Game/94.9 Game 2 Bracket Challenge”. The Cromwell Group INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. The Contest and all of the related pages, contents are copyright The Cromwell Group INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”). Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
TAXES: Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9 for prizes valued over six hundred dollars ($600.00). Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
CONDUCT AND DECISIONS: All decisions of the Sponsor will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Each Sponsor will interpret these Rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the Sponsor’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners are notified than prize(s) available, prize(s) will be awarded in a random drawing from among all such persons. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Any reference in these Official Rules or as part of the Contest to the Sponsor’s and/or Station’s “discretion” and/or any exercise of discretion by the Sponsor or Station shall mean in Sponsor’s and/or Station’s “sole and unfettered discretion.” The Sponsor further reserves the right to terminate the Contest if in its sole judgment, the rules or the integrity of the Contest have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a entrant in the Contest. In the event the Contest is terminated, Sponsor will award the prize(s) in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to termination. If applicable material changes to the Contest rules will be broadcast on-air and available on-line at the Station’s website, when practical. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision.
Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a participant, will result in the participant’s disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILIATES reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILATES’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILIATES or its affiliates. THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILIATES reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Contest and these Official Rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement. By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILIATES and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding. Copies of written contest rules and the list of winners are available during regular business hours at THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILIATES 1824 Murfreesboro Rd, Nashville TN for 60 days after the contest concludes. As a condition to participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Davidson County, Tennessee having competent jurisdiction, which court shall apply the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to the conflicts of law principles thereof. The entrant and THE CROMWELL GROUP, INC AND AFFILATES hereby waive any and all right to trial by jury. If any provision of these Official Rules is declared or found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or void, then such provision will be null and void but each other provision hereof not so affected will be enforced to the full extent permitted by applicable law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Proper identification is required to claim prize.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAW AND GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Tennessee. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
