The NBA Finals are just days away, and both the Warriors and Cavaliers are looking to end their season at the top of the NBA food chain. The question I ask however is which teams star is under more pressure?
Lebron James is making his 5th straight trip to the NBA Finals; A feat unheard of in today’s NBA that is full of free agency and players teaming together. We all know the Jordan vs. Lebron debate that happens everywhere, and this series will just add to the discussion. Does this mean that Lebron James is under more pressure to win than Steph Curry?
Steph Curry is the reigning NBA MVP, a honor bestowed on the best player in the NBA. How is that for pressure? Steph Curry must hear it not stop, the calls for the Warriors to capture the title due in part to it being “their year.” Not only is Curry the reigning NBA MVP, but he also set a record for most 3 pointers made in a single NBA postseason.
Both star players for their respective squads is under extreme amounts of pressure to not only win, but leave their mark in the Finals. Will Lebron win Cleveland its 1st title since 1964? Will Steph Curry finish the year not only with the MVP trophy, but a new championship ring?
Tune in June 4th to 94.9 Game 2 to find out who will take a 1-0 lead in the series.
My pick….Warriors in 6
