The Nashville Predators and Columbus Blue Jackets made a good ol’ hockey trade on Wednesday. After running into each other in the Columbus airport on Wednesday night, both players participated in their new teams’ practice and met with their respective media contingencies.
Johansen spoke with the Nashville media about the trade, his gratitude for the Blue Jackets organization, living up to the expectations of being the number one center Nashville has been looking for and whether or not he wanted to steal the #19 from Calle Jarnkrok before settling on #92.
Jones addressed the Columbus media as well. He spoke about coming up through the Nashville organization,running into Johansen at the airport, his expanded responsibilities an opportunity in Columbus and how Shea Weber has had an influence on him.
