ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Todd McShay posted his 2016 NFL Mock Draft 4.0 Thursday afternoon. Sitting atop the order, McShay has the Tennessee Titans taking a player who, by now, all those who follow the organization should be intimately familiar with.
Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, still “makes the most sense,” said McShay when he joined George Plaster & Floyd Reese on Sports Night yesterday.
“I can make an argument for [Ohio State defensive end] Joey Bosa, I can make an argument for [Florida State corner] Jalen Ramsey and there’s some other great players in this draft,” McShay went on to say. “But, it [Tunsil] just seems, at this point, to make the most sense.”
McShay did not rule out additional options for the first overall pick in this year’s draft.
In his write-up, McShay forecast that he could see the Titans, “going in one of three directions: pass-rusher (Joey Bosa is the most obvious candidate), defensive back (Jalen Ramsey) or left tackle (Tunsil). I’ll stick with Tunsil for now. He’s the most talented offensive lineman in the draft, and it’s a clear need for the Titans, who have to protect the QB better this season after they allowed 54 sacks total in 2015.”
