ESPN 102.5 THE GAME, NASHVILLE PREDATORS EXPAND “SMASHVILLE LIVE” COVERAGE FOR 2019-20 SEASON
NASHVILLE (September 25, 2019) – Starting Oct. 2, ESPN 102.5 The Game’s feature show Smashville Live will broadcast Wednesday nights from 7-8 p.m. throughout the 2019-20 NHL regular season. Every show will be on location at a local establishment, giving fans the opportunity to get an autograph or picture with the star guests. Smashville Live will be hosted regularly by ESPN 102.5 The Game host Braden Gall (Morning Drive, weekdays, 6-10 a.m.); it will also feature Hal Gill and other Predators broadcast personalities throughout the season.
In previous seasons, Smashville Live only broadcasted a select number of times throughout the regular season, featuring various Nashville Predators players. This season, the weekly show will feature a rotation of Predators players, executives and alumni, as well as local celebrities. The season premiere on Oct. 2 will feature Predators General Manager David Poile and Assistant General Manager Brian Poile, live from Brewhouse South in Cool Springs.
Smashville Live will be a staple on ESPN 102.5 The Game’s Wednesday night lineup that already features Preds Insiders from 6-7 p.m. and Penalty Box Radio from 8-9 p.m. With the expansion of Smashville Live, Slap Shot Radio moves to Monday nights on ESPN 102.5 The Game.
“To be able to team up with the Predators and deliver even more unique content on a weekly basis is a big win for us,” ESPN 102.5 The Game Program Director Ryan Porth said. “Smashville Live has been wildly popular in recent years and we’re excited for it to be bigger and better than ever before. We have a lot of great plans in store that will get fans excited to interact with the show every week.”
