The Nashville Predators kicked off their 2019-20 season with a bang by beating the Minnesota Wild, 5-2, on Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena. Ryan Ellis, Mikael Granlund, Austin Watson, Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg all scored while goaltender Pekka Rinne turned aside 22 Minnesota shots in the victory.
I caught up with Watson after the game about the fast start, the hiccup at the end of the second period and then the blitzkrieg to start the third.
