Prior to puck drop on Saturday, November 14, the Nashville Predators, Winnipeg Jets and the sold out crowd at Bridgestone Arena took part in a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris, France yesterday.
Predators mascot Gnash repelled from the rafters wearing a French flag, several media members wore French flag lapel pins and the Game Ops crew even turned the ice the color of the French flag, all in an effort to show solidarity with our fellow human beings overseas.
Side note: the New Jersey Devils organization turned in a pretty amazing tribute to the fallen in Paris as well. They built the warm up pucks into an Eiffel Tower.
