There are in-game marraige proposals and then there’s this.
Nashville Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson had an assist before the game even started on Saturday night when, on his way out for warm ups, he wore an engagement ring under his hockey glove. When he saw Morgan Landsberg standing along the rail in the Lexus Lounge, he knew what to do. While the rest of the team walked toward the ice, he stopped and handed the ring off to Preds fan Conor Payne who, of course, did the rest.
The raw video, courtesy of the Lexus Lounge, is below where you can clearly see Ryan Johansen stop and watch the festivities just before PK Subban encourages a certain answer.

When Chase McCabe asked Arvidsson after the game whether he was nervous holding onto the ring prior to the big moment he responded with “a little bit but it’s not a long walk.”
