DERRICK MASON

Derrick Mason isn’t just a former NFL star, he’s a Tennessee Sports Hall of Famer.   A 15-year NFL veteran, Derrick “D-Mase” Mason made his mark as a standout wide receiver and return specialist for the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. He’s the only player in NFL history to rack up over 10,000 receiving yards and 5,000 return yards, a record that still stands today.

Drafted by the Titans (then Oilers) in 1997 out of Michigan State, Mason spent his first eight seasons in Tennessee, helping define the franchise’s early years with clutch plays, leadership, and explosive returns. He went on to play seven more seasons with the Ravens, earning multiple Pro Bowl nods and a trip to the Super Bowl.

Now inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, D-Mase brings the player’s perspective to DVD with Adam Vingan and Willy Daunic. 

Whether he’s breaking down routes, calling out bad takes, or reminding fans what it’s like to actually play the game, Derrick brings insight you won’t find anywhere else.

ADAM VINGAN

Adam Vingan brings a journalist’s precision and a hockey insider’s edge to 102.5 The Game.   An accomplished sportswriter and broadcaster, Adam has covered the NHL at nearly every level from beat reporting to national coverage. He’s reported on the Nashville Predators for The Athletic and The Tennessean, and previously served as a researcher for NHL Network.

Adam’s journalism career began in D.C., where he covered the Capitals for The Washington Post Express, wrote for NBC Washington, and worked as a correspondent for NHL.com. He holds a B.A. in Print Journalism from American University.

Since moving to Nashville in 2015, Adam has had a long-standing relationship with 102.5 The Game. In his own words:  “The station has been so good to me, which is why it was a no-brainer to join the Cromwell Media team.”

Now, as part of the DVD crew with Derrick Mason and Willy Daunic, Adam brings sharp analysis, breaking news, and the kind of informed perspective that only comes from years in the locker room and on the beat.

WILLY DAUNIC

Willy Daunic is one of the most trusted voices in Nashville sports.
A Vanderbilt graduate and former two-sport athlete (baseball and basketball), Willy has spent nearly 30 years behind the mic, becoming a fixture in Middle Tennessee sports media.

Willy’s broadcasting roots run deep.  He’s been part of countless Vanderbilt athletics and TSSAA championship broadcasts, bringing insight only a former D1 athlete can provide. Since 1998, he’s been with the Nashville Predators, and today he serves as their TV play-by-play announcer, calling the action with a sharp eye and signature energy.

Listeners know him from decades of afternoon drive radio and now as one-third of DVD alongside Derrick Mason and Adam Vingan. Whether it’s hockey, college sports, or anything that matters in Nashville, Willy brings a rare mix of experience, knowledge, and authenticity to the conversation.
