NASHVILLE (July 18, 2019) – ESPN 102.5 The Game’s weekday midday show is gaining a new member to its team. Chase McCabe joins Darren McFarland and Willy Daunic, as Darren, Daunic and Chase, weekdays from 10 am to 2 pm, will make its official debut starting Tuesday, July 30, 2019, on Nashville’s Best Sports Talk: ESPN 102.5 The Game.
“Chase McCabe has been a valuable member of ESPN 102.5 The Game almost since its inception back in 2011,” said Program Director Ryan Porth. “Through his years of being an executive producer on our staff, as well as Assistant Program Director, Chase has built up a great reputation in this market and has earned the opportunity to work every day in the hosting chair moving forward. We look forward to having Chase make our lineup deeper and better.”
In McFarland and Daunic, McCabe joins a show that already features two highly-respected voices that have been on the air in Nashville for over 20 years. Last fall, Darren and Daunic was named Nashville’s Best Sports Talk Show by Nashville Scene. McCabe, 32, is a Nashville native and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012. He has hosted the Chase McCabe Show and various podcasts in recent years.
“It’s really hard to put into words how excited I am to finally live out my dream of being a full time on-air host. The best part is I get to do it at ESPN 102.5 the Game. This place gave me my start and is home,” McCabe said. “It is also an absolute thrill to be able to join up once again with Darren and Willy. They have been there through everything with me and I am so excited to add to an already awesome show. I cannot wait to get started.”
In addition to joining the weekday lineup, McCabe will also co-host Chase and TD with ESPN NFL Nation Tennessee Titans reporter Turron Davenport. The show will be scheduled from 6-8 pm on most Friday nights through the Titans’ season, starting Aug. 2.
ESPN 102.5 The Game’s weekday lineup also features Morning Drive with Nick Kayal, Braden Gall and Derrick Mason, from 6-10 am; and Jared & The GM with Jared Stillman and Floyd Reese, from 2-6 pm.
