McCarthy set for on-field work, Wentz hurting

Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy will get “extensive work” on the field during Minnesota’s bye week, coach Kevin O’Connell said, while veteran Carson Wentz requires further evaluation of his injured shoulder.
