Hughes scores in return as Devils fall to Sabres

New Jersey forward Jack Hughes, a 24-year-old center and hopeful for the U.S. Olympic team, returned to the Devils’ lineup just more than five weeks after having finger surgery and scored the first goal in a 3-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday.
