Merry Christmas, hockey fans.
Nashville Predators defenseman PK Subban took time out of his busy schedule to surprise some kids at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center but he didn’t do it alone. He asked kids at the Montreal Children’s Hospital to help him spread the love through written letters to kids in Music City, he enlisted the help of fellow blueliner Roman Josi as well as country music star Dierks Bentley.
In this calendar year that’s seen so much division in our society, here’s a message of hope, love and compassion. In short, here’s a message we all need.
The following is from the media release.

Marking the third year of his Holiday Surprise tradition, P.K. Subban has done it again with The Subban Sleigh. Arriving at The Vanderbilt Meharry Centre for Sickle Cell Disease on horse and carriage, he surprises a group of sick kids with the ride of their lives through the streets of Nashville. After an afternoon of fun, their final stop was the Nashville Predators team store at Bridgestone Arena, where his teammate Roman Josi was waiting to help the kids choose anything they wanted. Once they were all geared up, they gathered around the tree to open their letters, gifts and even enjoy one final surprise – a private concert from country star Dierks Bentley!
